Made of linseed oil ground cork dust, wood flour, heaps of limestone, non toxic coloured pigments, Jute ( made of plant fibres used for the backing), or burlap and canvas .
Traditional technique of creating and expression with drawing and textural surface design
Used as a floor covering dating back to 1860, Â also used for wallpapering (woodcut)
